Leads arrived. Nothing carried them to a purchase.
A US coaching brand with leads arriving and nothing connecting them to revenue. Built a full lifecycle engine in GoHighLevel — dual lead magnets by intent stage, behavioural segmentation, quiz-based product recommendations, post-purchase onboarding and membership upsell paths.

“The brand was generating leads through social content and paid traffic, but there was no structured journey between subscriber and paying customer. Leads downloaded a resource, then disappeared. I built the system that made the middle work.”
A U.S.-based coaching brand was generating leads through social content and paid traffic, but had no structured journey to convert subscribers into paying customers. Leads would opt in, download a resource, and then hear nothing useful — or hear the same pitch regardless of who they were or what they’d engaged with.
There was no segmentation, no behavioral routing, and no system connecting first opt-in to repeat purchase to membership.
The gap wasn’t traffic or content. It was everything between the first click and the first purchase.
Every lead got the same emails. Nobody was segmented by behavior, interest or readiness. Product recommendations were generic. There was no post-purchase path. And the membership tier — the highest-LTV offer — had no automated path leading to it.
Dual lead magnet funnels — a PDF guide for research-stage leads and an interactive quiz for action-stage leads, so intent is captured at the point of entry rather than guessed at later.
Behavioral segmentation based on clicks, quiz responses and engagement patterns.
Quiz-based personalised product recommendations — the right offer shown to the right person based on their answers.
Product-specific nurture sequences, so each product carries its own email journey rather than sharing one generic track.
Post-purchase onboarding emails — not just “thanks for buying,” but “here’s how to get the most out of what you just bought.”
Upsell paths into the membership tier, timed to engagement signals rather than arbitrary dates.
Long-term newsletter nurture for non-buyers — keeping them warm until they were ready.
The engine runs on its own: intent captured at opt-in, segmentation applied from behaviour, product recommendations driven by quiz answers, and a path into the membership tier that fires on engagement rather than on a date.
Every flow is attributed and documented, and the brand runs it without me.
No performance figure is published here. The engagement predates the reporting discipline I hold this portfolio to, and I could not find a retained source for one — so what is claimed is the system, not a result.
The gap is the value.
“What impressed me most was the depth of his thinking around retention. Instead of jumping straight into tactics, he analysed our entire customer journey and connected that with lifecycle messaging in a way that made complete sense. His audit alone was worth the investment.”
Traffic and content get someone to the door. Everything that decides whether they buy happens in the middle — which is the part nobody builds.
